Social Media Committee

Chairman: Spencer Lanning

Spencer Lanning, in addition to being the Section Social Media Chair, is a Chapter Chief in the Amangamek-Wipit Lodge. To facilitate higher attendance at Section events, his goal as Social Media Chairman is to increase the outreach and capability of social media platforms. He has been to Philmont (Trek and NAYLE), Sea Base and Swamp Base. He finds staffing Council leadership courses such as National Youth Leadership Training and Wood Badge to be fun and allows him to give back to his fellow Scouts. In school, he is on the Golf Team and is President of the Paintball Club. 

Website Committee

Chairman: Charlie Tribble

 Charlie is a member of Troop 456 and Crew 456 out of Catonsville, Maryland. He is a Life Scout and is actively pursuing Eagle. As a member of Nentico Lodge, he serves as Chief of the Arrowhead Chapter and as his Lodge's Communications Committee Chair. Outside of Scouting, Charlie enjoys teaching himself how to program and works on coding robots for his school's FIRST Robotics Team, of which he is the Vice President. He is excited to serve as the NE-6A Website Chairman, and wants to help make sure that Arrowmen have the online resources they need to be active members of their Chapter, Lodge, and Section!

PROMOTIONS COMMITTEE

Chairman: Devin Little

Devin, a Vigil Honor member from Amangamek-Wipit Lodge, is active in his unit as an Assistant Scoutmaster, and in his Chapter and District as the District's Spring Camporee Chairman. He works as a counselor at Goshen Scout Reservation, Camp Olmsted, and for his Lodge, he served as the Goshen Scout Reservation Order of the Arrow Coordinator. Outside of Scouting, he is a student at the College of Southern Maryland studying Criminal Justice and Environmental Science. He looks forward to helping the Section throughout this next term!

Training COMMITTEE

Chairman: Tony Sheaffer

​Tony Sheaffer is from Troop 102 in Towson, Maryland, and served as the 2016 and 2017 Nentico Lodge Chief. He is an Eagle Scout and has received the Vigil Honor. In addition to his Troop, Tony is also a member of Sea Scout Ship 7117 in Essex, Maryland. As the Training Chairman, Tony is excited about the upcoming 2019 NE-6A Conclave. He is also ready to help with any training needs that our Lodges or the Section needs over the next year!

JTE COMMITTEE

CHAIRMAN: Chris Marshall

Christopher Marshall is an Eagle Scout out of Troop 105! He is also a member of Sea Scout Ship 198, where he holds the rank of Apprentice. For the past two years, he has served as the Nentego Lodge Chief for but is now ready to take on the role of Section JTE Chairman. He is a senior at Sussex Academy High School, where he has been the captain of the Varsity Golf Team for the past four years. When he is not busy with Scouts, you will most likely find him on the golf course or out on the water. He looks forward to working with all three lodge to help recognize and solve some problems to help chapters and lodges achieve better JTE metrics.
